Is this posted knife available?

All available items will be posted in the shop, with a few exceptions directly on my Instagram feed. If it's in the shop and in stock, its available. If it's on my Instagram and It says it's available, it is. If it doesn't say it's available, it isn't.

how do i buy one of your knives?

Currently, all fixed blades are sold in a drop. This means that multiple blades are made available at a specified date and time, and sold on a first come first serve basis in the website shop. The next drop date is always listed in my bio on Instagram as well as an announcement banner at the top of the website.

Can I get on a waitlist?

For fixed blade sales and custom order books, no. Everything is first come first serve. For Venture Custom orders, yes the waitlist is open.

How will I know when a knife is posted for sale?

Best way to stay up to date is to subscribe to my Instagram feed. There is also a banner at the top of the site which lists when the next batch of blades will drop in the shop.

how much do your knives cost?

I don't quote pricing unless books are about to open, as there are many variables and options that are subject to change. All prices are posted when blades are listed for sale.

Do you take custom orders?

I do, but as of right now books are currently closed. Books only open every couple of months with very limited spots, and usually sell out in minutes. The best way to stay up to date on custom order books info is to subscribe to me newsletter.

Do you offer a warranty?

All Northwest Bladeworks products are covered under a transferable limited lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship. Modification to (Including improper sharpening) or misuse of the product will void this warranty. Blades are meant to be used, and wear and tear on the finish is normal, and is not covered under the warranty.

 

Can A knife be Refinished?

Blades may be sent for a “Spa Day” (For a small fee, mostly to cover the cost of return shipping) to address wear and tear issues including refinishing, resharpening, having additional sheaths made, etc. Please fill out the Contact form with your serial number and "Spa Day" in the subject line to get that process started. 

Will you still sell knives on instagram?

Instagram sales will be limited to special items (auction pieces, charity raffles, lottos, etc.)

All other blades will be sold via the website shop in a drop format (multiple blades being made available at a set time with plenty of advance notice.)

What kind of steel do you use?

I offer many options for blade steels, with the most popular options being performance “super” steels like those from Crucible Particle Metallurgy and Carpenter Tool Steels. More basic steel options are available as well.

Can I have another sheath made for my blade?

Yes absolutely, but due to the handmade nature of my knives, I need the blade in hand to make additional sheaths for it. If you just snagged a blade from a drop or want another for a blade you have already, fill out the contact form with the serial number and order number (if applicable) in the subject line and we can get the details sorted from there.
